Ousmane Dembele has officially approached the management of Barcelona with a request to receive permission to start negotiations with Paris Saint-Germain, reported a number of Spanish media and journalists such as Gerard Romero and Fabrizio Romano.
However, there appears to be no time to strike a deal where the French club will pay his €50m buyout clause, as it runs until tonight.
With this condition, the two clubs must now negotiate a standard sale. However, there is no reason to expect that the Catalans would fight for a very high amount, because Dembele's contract with them expires in a year.
